All required actions must be complete prior to stepping on a practice or game field with players.

We’re excited to have you! This page provides important information, requirements, and resources to support coaches and team parents throughout the season.

Online Registration and Background Checks (Required)

Through your CSLL website account, you can register as a volunteer, then select the desired role(s), such as: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Parent.

After selecting your role(s) and completing registration, a background check link will be emailed to you. All volunteers are required to complete a background check.

Annual Training (Required)

There are two required computer-based training courses that all volunteer Coaches and Team Parents must complete. If these courses were completed prior to January 1, 2026, they must be retaken, as they are required to be renewed each calendar year. Both courses can be accessed through the Little League Baseball and Softball website and are free of charge.

Required Courses:
     - Abuse Awareness Training Course - Little League

     - First Aid Awareness Training Course - Little League
     - Diamond Leader Training Program - Little League (Tournament Coaches Only)

Upon completion, certificates should be:
- Emailed to the Coach Coordinator for verification and league records

2026 Coach's Binder (Mandatory at all Practices / Games)

 Each team must have access to the following:

- Roster with Parent Contact Information
Medical Release Forms (one for each player)
Parent Code of Conduct (one for each family)
CSLL Safety Plan
- Blank Injury/Incident Report Form
- Quick Reference Safety Information

Game Changer (GC) 

Game Changer will be used for all CSLL team and schedule management. Coaches will be able to import their team roster and the CSLL game schedule from Sports Connect, with updates syncing automatically. GC also allows coaches to add practice schedules, communicate with parents, track player information, manage lineups, record game statistics and video for individual players (if recorded).

After importing your team from Sports Connect into GC, please adjust your team's name to the following format: Team Name CSLL Sp’26
Example: Dodgers CSLL Sp’26
